• The low angle in this shot shows that he is in power, and as he is buying the drink and choosing it, it shows that he is in control.

• He is looking at the woman to impress her. This shows that he is showing off, it also shows some of his character because he is acting like he is something that he is not.

• You know that the man is old enough to buy a drink as the barman doesn’t even question him or ask for I.D. As the shot is a MCU it shows that he is alright with the barman and is on the same level.

 

• The fact that he takes a show could show that he is quite immature because he needs a drink to talk to the woman, the low angle shot shows that he feels in control.
